Well, let’s just say the beldam ain’t your average mom. Right off the bat, you can tell she’s up to no good. She may look like Coraline’s mom, but she’s got a wicked streak a mile wide. Plus, her eyes are all creepy and her skin is kinda grayish-blue. Yikes!
Coraline Jones: The titular protagonist of the story, Coraline is a brave and curious young girl who discovers a secret door in her family’s new home that leads to an alternate world.
Other Mother: The main antagonist of the story, the Other Mother is a sinister being who lives in the alternate world and attempts to keep Coraline there forever by trapping her soul in a doll.
