Sup, iam Terry Turner, You have yourself a good one!

Wow, another year gone by already! It feels like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year, and now here we are 365 days later. Time sure flies when you’re having fun! But it’s not all bad news - with a new year comes a fresh start and plenty of opportunities to make this one even better than the last. Here’s to making the most of every day in 2021!

Why 365 Days In A Year? [Solved]

The Long Answer: It’s a long story, but here goes. Earth takes about 365 and a quarter days to orbit the Sun — that’s what we call a solar year. But since it’s not an exact number, we round it off to 365 days in our calendar year. To make up for the missing quarter day, we add an extra day every four years — that’s why February has 29 days in leap years! So there you have it — that’s why our calendar is the way it is!

  • A year is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to complete one orbit around the Sun. It is divided into 12 months, each lasting an average of 30 or 31 days. The year has 365 days in total, with an extra day added every four years (leap year).

24 hours a day

  • A day is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to rotate once on its axis. This rotation creates a cycle of light and darkness that we call day and night. Each day consists of 24 hours, which are further divided into 60 minutes each and 60 seconds each.

7 days a week

  • A week is a period of seven consecutive days, usually starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday. It is used as a unit for measuring time in many parts of the world, including most countries in Europe and North America. The seven-day week was first adopted by ancient Babylonians over 4,000 years ago.

12 months a year

  • Months are periods that divide up the year into smaller units of time based on lunar cycles or solar cycles (depending on culture). In most modern calendars there are 12 months per year: January, February, March, April, May, June July August September October November December

It’s a whole year in a flash! 365 days is the standard for a year, and it goes by so quickly. It’s like time flies when you’re having fun - before you know it, another year has come and gone. Wow!
