Why Is A Week 7 Days? [Solved]
Well, you can thank the Babylonians for our seven-day week! Back in 2300 BCE, King Sargon I of Akkad declared it so. They were pretty smart - they knew that there were seven celestial bodies visible to the naked eye (the Sun, Moon and five planets). Pretty cool, huh?
Monday: The first day of the work week, often seen as a fresh start to the week.
Tuesday: A day to focus on tasks and projects that need to be completed during the week.
Wednesday: Mid-week, often seen as a hump day or halfway point in the work week.
Thursday: A day to tie up loose ends and prepare for the upcoming weekend activities.
Friday: The last day of the work week, often celebrated with happy hours or other social events after work hours are over.
Saturday: A day for leisure activities such as shopping, going out with friends, or catching up on errands that couldn’t be done during the work week due to time constraints.
7 Sunday: The last day of the weekend before returning back to work on Monday; usually spent relaxing and preparing for another busy week ahead
